330 girls attend the ECF National Girls Schools Championships

A record 330 girls attended the English Chess Federation (ECF) National Girls Schools Championships on Sunday 26th January 2025.

The level ranged from experienced international titled players down to girls experiencing tournament chess outside of school for the first time.

Top 9 schools in both competitions go through to the final to be played on 5th and 6th April. Well done to all qualifying schools!
