GM Elizabeth trains top SPTW girls

SPTW plans to support our top female talents in the UK with training.

14-27th October sees a number of English girls head to Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt, for the World Cadet Championships in the age groups Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12.

SPTW was pleased to enlist German Grandmaster Elizabeth Paehtz to run a session online for the girls. The session was very informative, with ‘Lizzy’ drawing on her own personal experiences as a junior playing in these major youth chess championships.
