She Plays To Win Girls Schools League Event 2

The She Plays To Win Girls Schools Leagues had their second battle online on Wednesday 1st December.

A total of 121 girls across the Primary and Secondary leagues logged onto the Lichess server, playing for one hour to represent their school.

Games were hard fought. In the Primary competition (girls aged school year 6 and younger) North London Collegiate School edged out Bromley High and Hampton Hill Junior to win Battle 2.

The secondary competition also saw NLCS, the reigning champions from last seasons inaugural championship, come top ahead of Denmark Road School and Abbey School.

Next term will see battles commence again- all schools invited, the competition is completely free to enter and play in.

Any new schools who are interested to get involved are welcome to contact SPTW Founder Lorin D’Costa via the ‘contact us’ page on the SPTW website.
