SPTW team perform well in Albania

This week concluded the 27th European Women’s Chess Club Cup in Durres, Albania.

It was the first time a SPTW team had entered the competition, which we participated with some of our top UK female talents aged 17-24.

This was an excellent experience for the team, which resulted in finishing above their seeding and all 4 players gaining FIDE rating points.

On top of this, Abigail scored the Woman FIDE Master (WFM) title during the tournament.
