Simul fundraisers in Petts Wood & Maidenhead

SPTW Founder Lorin D’Costa has been busy fundraising for SPTW by visiting chess clubs in the home counties and giving simultaneous exhibitions.

Lorin played 21 players in each club, lasting around 3 hours. Over £400 has been raised for SPTW from these visits, and the SPTW message spreading across local clubs to encourage girls to join SPTW and get involved in what we are doing.

The thumbnail photo shows a number of girls turning up to play Lorin at the Petts Wood and Orpington chess club simul on 1st July, which was great to see!
