First ever female squad in the 4NCL National League

She Plays To Win broke more ground on the weekend of 5/6th November 2022, as 3 teams of 6 girls participated in weekend one of the 4NCL (4 Nations Chess League) the prestigious league here in the UK.

This is the first time a female only squad has participated in the 4NCL since its inception in 1992. Not only that, the girls acquitted themselves well. All 3 teams one a match and lost a match, sitting mid table after weekend 1.

Congratulations to the girls who represented SPTW in these teams:

SPTW Lionesses

SPTW Young Stars

SPTW Uni
