Starter Girls Tournament Series kicks off across the UK

As part of the plan to promote grassroots chess across the UK, starter girls tournaments, offering the chance for girls who little or no experience to chess tournament play, have been taking place across the UK.

Events in Norfolk, Wiltshire, Yorkshire and Essex have already begun, and you can see the other planned events across the UK on our calendar page: https://www.sheplaystowin.co.uk/events

Events such as the Essex Series on Saturday 9th November attracted over 40 girls from the area.
