The standout female result was Elis Denele Dicen winning the Under 10 section with an 8/11 unbeaten score. This was the first time the UKCC had seen a female champion since the tournaments inception in 1996. Well done to Elis!

It should be noted in the Under 10s that second place was also taken by a girl, as Ruqayyah Rida scored an excellent 7.5/11 narrowly missing out on the U10 title herself.

The girls champions in each section were;

Under 8- Bodhana Sivanathan

Under 10- Elis Denele Dicen

Under 12- Olga Latypova

Under 14- Nina Pert

Under 18- Imogen Denele Dicen

All of these girls have taken part in She Plays To Win Events since its inception in April 2020.

SPTW will continue to support our UK girls regardless of level, right from beginner up to our top female stars.
