The league meets online every half term since its inception in September 2020. This competition has grown fast, and on Wednesday 10th February 2021 we saw 19 schools from all over the UK take part.

She Plays To Win is a UK Girls Chess Project led by England Women’s Coach IM Lorin D’Costa, to try and encourage more girls to participate and learn chess in a fun environment.

It all begins with an idea.Saturday 6th February 2021 saw 28 girls represent SPTW in a head-to-head match against Sussex Juniors. These girls were selected from our B Squad (ECF grade 91-129) and C Squad (ECF Grade 51-90)
